meeting

DTL Leaders’ Meeting at NCSLMA Conference

The NC Department of Public Instruction's Office of Digital Teaching and Learning, in partnership with the NC School Library Media Association (NCSLMA), is facilitating a meeting for district level and charter technology and library media leaders on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at the NCSLMA Conference. In keeping with NCSLMA's conference theme, "The Magic Happens Here," we will learn how several districts are "magically" transforming their spaces and programming. Join us to learn about how Guilford County Schools is evaluating its library spaces, how Davie County Schools has leveraged a DLI grant to transform learning in its spaces, how Duplin County Schools is impacting student learning through makerspaces, and how Moore County Schools is engaging students through robotics and engineering. Additionally, NCDPI DTL leadership will provide state level updates. We hope you are looking forward to this opportunity for us to share with and learn from each other. Mark your calendars and plan to network with other library media and technology leaders from across the state at this fabulous conference!

Intended Audience: Charter and District Level Library and Technology Leaders

When and Where: October 5, 2023, 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM, NCSLMA Conference, Benton Convention Center, Winston-Salem

Meeting Registration: If you plan to attend the gathering, please let us know by completing this registration: https://forms.gle/fELSS1H1dZ6gDtFaA
