Annual RtA Survey: 22-23 RtA Supplemental Data Reporting for JLEOC
The intent of this survey is to collect supplemental data for the State Board of Education and Joint Legislative Education Oversight Committee reporting. Please follow the instructions with each question in the survey to ensure accurate data collection for these legislative requirements.

NC Charter School Reading Camp Office Hours
Amplify is hosting sessions to share information on the updated mCLASS platform (releasing July 1st), to review the new Summer Benchmark assessment, Reading Camp data delivery, and explain enrollment for Reading Camp.
If your charter school uses DIBELS 8 as the K-3 Literacy Assessment, please sign up for a session! Detailed information about summer training sessions for charter school staff who will be assessing K-3 students using DIBELS 8 is linked below.
The summer training sessions will run from July 17th - August 4th. All sessions will be delivered remotely through Google Meets. We are looking forward to a great summer of learning.
Amplify mCLASS® DIBELS® 8 Platform Updates
Amplify is excited to announce that the mCLASS platform will be updated to provide a more streamlined experience. When teachers log in, they will arrive at Educator Home, where they will find a new, more efficient way to access their assessment, reporting, and instructional tools in less clicks. mCLASS students logging in will arrive at Student Home, where they will be able to complete assigned mCLASS assessments. These updates will take place on Jul 1, 2023.

Use this form to request Amplify mCLASS with DIBELS 8 assessment materials for new classrooms/schools. In the survey, you can choose to request the assessment materials in English and/or Spanish. DL/I classrooms that are 100, 90/10 or 80/20 can choose to order assessment materials only in Spanish.
For schools on a year-round schedule, please complete this form by 06/16/23. For traditional calendar schools, please complete by June 30, 2023.
2023-2024 RtA Benchmark Date Reporting Form
The purpose of this form is to capture each PSU's Read to Achieve benchmark window dates for BOY, MOY and EOY. PSUs with more than one schedule for its elementary schools will submit separate benchmark window dates for each schedule.
How to calculate benchmark windows:
For BOY: 15 consecutive instructional school days (not including holidays) within days 6 – 21 of the school year. No testing during the first 5 days to establish relationships and routines.
For MOY: 15 consecutive instructional school days (not including holidays) within days 80 – 100 of the school year.
For EOY: 15 consecutive instructional school days (not including holidays) within days 155-170 of the school year. Complete testing prior to EOGs during the last 10 days.
Please complete this form no later than June 30, 2023.
RtA Reading Camp
We recognize the importance of beginning the planning process for your PSUs reading camp opportunities. The following information pertains to Read to Achieve (RtA) Reading Camps for the 2022-2023 school year.
PSUs will use student mCLASS EOY Composite Score data as the pre-assessment data for reading camp. Students attending reading camp will be assessed using DIBELS 8 at the end of camp.
A Summer benchmark window will be available in the mCLASS assessment system for the dates selected on your Reading Camp Survey.
Amplify has provided procedural documentation and recordings supporting both enrollment and assessment in the Reading Camp section of the NC Amplify website.

Camp Read-A-Lot at East Wake Academy began strong with some amazing 2nd and 3rd grade readers! From Hawaii to the Desert to the Mountains they camped in a new land to practice one of the 5 components of literacy.
