2nd Synchronous Meetup → Asynchronous
The second synchronous meetup originally planned for Monday, June 12, will be posted as an asynchronous recording. This session will feature the PD Booklet for 2022 - 2023 and showcase the LinguaFolio teacher videos.
Please look for the asynchronous meetup session to be posted soon on the Professional Learning Opportunities page, where the archives from the first meetup in January and the Twitter Chat in February are already available.
Professional Development
There's still time to make your own copy of the Professional Learning Booklet for 2022 - 2023 as an asynchronous learning opportunity! This self-paced PD Booklet is worth 10 contact hours, and all work needs to be completed by June 30, 2023.
The first half of the PD Booklet focuses on the LinguaFolio Biography components (listed below and available in 13 languages) that are a record of personal language learning history that learners use to set goals and reflect on their language learning and intercultural experiences.

The second half of the PD Booklet features the Introduction to LinguaFolio self-paced Canvas course that is worth 10 contact hours or 1 CEU. This training focuses on how to implement LinguaFolio as a formative assessment tool for language learners in all types of programs and classrooms (DL/I, classical languages, ESL, heritage languages, modern languages, etc.).
