- How do you or could you use the "How Do I Learn?” component to plan learning with your students?
- What kind of “Language Activities” do you have students use in the classroom?
- How do you use the “Intercultural Encounters” component to develop SEL competencies in your language students?

Semester II: Introduction to LinguaFolio Training
The Professional Learning Booklet for 2022 - 2023, available as a PDF or as a Google doc so you can make your own copy, includes on page 25 the Semester II work that officially begins on February 15.
During Semester II, we'll be continuing our professional learning journey with the Introduction to LinguaFolio self-paced Canvas course that is worth 10 contact hours or 1 CEU. This training focuses on how to implement LinguaFolio, a formative assessment tool for language learners, in all types of language learning programs and classrooms (DL/I, classical languages, ESL, heritage languages, modern languages, etc.).
Instructions on how to enroll in the Canvas course are in the booklet, along with encouragement to design a schedule that keeps you on track with the 2022 - 2023 asynchronous professional learning overall. The Semester I focus on Biography components is a foundation that the Canvas course will help you build on as you plan how to use LinguaFolio in your classroom with students.
Additional details are on the Professional Development page of the LF4NC Canvas Hub and the Apply & Reflect activities from Semester I are ongoing. Please see the information in the next section.
