NC LCOM

KEYBOARDING W/LEARNING.COM

Interested in a fun way to engage your students during their holiday break? Keyboarding is an excellent way for students to practice their touch-typing skills while increasing their words per minute, accuracy, and speed. Students can log into Learning.com anytime, anywhere.

I’m in! Now what?

For grades K-2, students can access their introductory keyboarding lessons in the Tech Quest pathway or educators can assign keyboarding lessons to their classes. Students in grades 3-8 can access the arcade in the top left corner area to access Adaptive Keyboarding.

For Educators & Coordinators

Beginning in January, we will be launching an Adaptive Keyboarding Contest. To help you get started, the second course in our Implementation Kits Module is now available through the Online Training Center Self-Paced Learning Courses. The course titled Adaptive Keyboarding Contest will train educators on how to host and run their own keyboarding contest using our Adaptive Keyboarding program - coordinators or teachers can use it. More contest information coming soon!

As educators complete the course, they will receive a certificate of completion that they can submit to the district for .5 hours of PD credit.

The Online Training Center also has an Updates Blog with the latest details about new features, enhancements, and content.

Happy Holidays!
