Issue One: Reading Materials, Engagement, Academic Language & Vocabulary
Over the 22-23 school year, this series of The SCOOP will focus on providing more context on quality literacy instruction through the lens of the LIS. Over the course of four issues, readers can expect to take a deeper dive into key literacy components and their standards: exploring what they are, why they are important, and what they could look like in practice. Each section will also have a “Try It” suggestion for educators and PLCs to reflect on and adapt their current instruction.
