2022 Global Education Leaders Program
Today’s globally connected world requires that we prepare students to become globally competent citizens who are able to work collaboratively across cultures. World View’s Global Education Leaders Program, held in June in Chapel Hill, brings together current and aspiring leaders from K-12 schools, districts and community colleges. Together we will examine global issues that impact students and their communities. Participants are led by university faculty as they engage in dialogue about key global topics and explore leadership strategies to support global education initiatives in classrooms, schools and campuses.
Additional details are being posted at https://worldview.unc.edu/programs/2022-global-education-leaders-program/ and the application is online at https://worldview.unc.edu/2022-global-education-leaders-program-application/

SPARK for German promotes both the study and teaching of German. With over 100 partners across the US, SPARK provides materials, professional development opportunities, and community to share the passion for German and the cultures of the German-speaking world. It supports local and regional initiatives to solve some of the most pressing questions, e.g., how to create educational opportunities for students from underrepresented populations, how to sustainably increase enrollments across K-16, and how to attract the most suitable and qualified candidates to consider a career teaching German.
If you are interested in learning more about the SPARK network, feel free to send an email to Spark-Washington@goethe.de to participate in an upcoming workshop
