Celebrate School Libraries in April!
April 3-9, is National Library Week, and we celebrate school libraries throughout the month of April. During the month, how will you celebrate and promote the important work of school library media coordinators?
Did you know that “When schools have high-quality library programs and librarians who share their expertise with the entire school community, student achievement gets a boost” (Lance)? Access to strong school libraries makes our students’ and teachers’ lives better! On AASL's site, scroll down to their School Library Month section to get celebration ideas for your PSUs.
