ELAC Applications Now Open!

 

The NCDPI ESL/Title III Team has opened its application for membership to the English Learner Advisory Council (ELAC). Becoming an advisor for this committee provides you with the opportunity to share your expertise and collaborate with the team and other experts across the state. The main purpose of the advisory council is to provide guidance and feedback on a number of topics and resources related to the ELD Standard Course of Study and EL policy, compliance, and program quality.

Join Us for Our #SettingTheStandard Series!

Third Session: March 31, 3:45 PM - 5:15 PM

 

The four-session NCDPI ELA #SettingTheStandards series will continue to be offered by grade-band. The goal of the professional learning series is to provide educators the opportunity to learn from, engage with, and be supported by the information and resources provided. The remaining two sessions in this series will cover:

 

Session 3: Read Alouds

Session 4: Text Sets

 

The content of the third session in the series will take place on March 31 at 3:45 PM and will provide participants with essential, core knowledge about read alouds and close reading strategies.  Educators can register for Session 3, by grade-band, below:
