NCDHHS Spanish Virtual Agent Launch

DPI, in partnership with DHHS, is excited to announce that the P-EBT Spanish Virtual Agent has launched! The P-EBT Virtual Agent can help with P-EBT eligibility, benefit amount, when to expect benefits, card activation, pinning, replacement, ebtEDGE cardholder account (including balance inquiries), household information updates and more. 

These capabilities can be accessed through the same entry points as the English Virtual Agent, on the NC DHHS P-EBT homepage and FAQs page.

DPI's OLR and NC Arts Council Grant Opportunities Webinar

Join the Office of Learning Recovery & Acceleration and the NC Arts Council Arts in Education Director, Kathleen Collier, to learn more about current and upcoming grant opportunities and their deadlines. There will also be a Q&A for PSUs looking for arts enrichment opportunities. Latest Rethink Education Facilitator Cohort Registration Now Open

Now through April 8, PSUs are invited to register for the second Rethink Education Facilitator Cohort to build a more resilient future for their district or school. Educators who become Rethink Facilitators will be equipped to train others in their district, charter or lab school on blended-learning instruction. PRCs 176 & 177: Technical Webinar

All PSUs hosting a summer program funded by these PRCs must attend an upcoming technical webinar hosted by the Office of Learning Recovery & Acceleration. This webinar will cover PowerSchool, Attendance Tracking, and Surveys. The webinar will also discuss ESSER-funded qualitative research studies and how they might connect to your PSU’s program(s).

25 Selected to Participate in Assistant Principal Accelerator Leadership Program

"Twenty-five school leaders from across North Carolina have been selected for the inaugural cohort of the Assistant Principal (AP) Accelerator Leadership Program, a joint partnership among the North Carolina Principals and Assistant Principals’ Association (NCPAPA), the Belk Foundation, and the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI). The newly established AP Accelerator Program is a statewide leadership initiative to fast-track promising assistant principals for principal positions and funded by NCDPI, the Belk Foundation, Burroughs Wellcome Fund and the NC Science, Mathematics, and Technology Education Center."
