We invite you to join a livestreamed conversation between State Superintendent of Public Instruction Catherine Truitt and NC Chamber President and CEO Gary Salamido on how North Carolina’s public schools are preparing students for post-secondary success.
The discussion will be centered around aligning the state’s K-12 public education system to meet 21st century workforce needs.
During the conversation, Truitt will present her workforce goals, which seek to better align North Carolina’s K-12 schools to rapidly changing workforce demands. The workforce goals will guide the agency’s work in the coming years to ensure that all students – whether bound for career or college after high school – are exposed to workforce opportunities throughout their K-12 experience.
Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Note: There will be an opportunity for Q&A from online participants for the last 15 minutes of the conversation.
Panel of Speakers:
