ESL/Title III Sponsored Activities

Application Closes on Monday, January 10th!

 

The NCDPI ESL/Title III Team is excited to support all NC educators’ efforts by offering an opportunity to strengthen your skills through participation in targeted professional learning events. The NCDPI ESL/Title III team has presented this opportunity to the field in the past years, which has yielded positive results for participants. Thus, we are pleased to confirm that we will offer this opportunity again Spring 2022!

 

Before submitting a sponsorship application, please complete the following steps:

  1. Review the Sponsorships Overview presentation and video recording prior to applying

  2. Review available professional learning offerings 

  3. Complete and submit the application form

Application window opens on Friday, December 17, 2021 and closes on Monday, January 10, 2022.

The four-session NCDPI ELA #SettingTheStandards series will continue to be offered by grade-band. The goal of the professional learning series is to provide educators the opportunity to learn from, engage with, and be supported by the information and resources provided. The remaining three sessions in this series will consist of:

 

Session 2: Learning Progressions and PLCs

Session 3: Read Alouds

Session 4: Text Sets

 

The content of the second session in the series will take place on January 13 at 3:45 PM and will provide participants with essential, core knowledge about NCDPI ELA Learning Progression documents and their application within PLCs.  Register for the second session of the series on Learning Progressions and PLCs below!
