K-12 Advanced Learning Labs - Updated and Available in Spanish

The newly updated and translated Advanced Learning Labs are aligned to concepts as well as the NCSCOS to use for remote or in-person instruction with your students. Advanced Learning Labs may be used as an extension, acceleration of concepts, or enrichment to units you already teach. The Advanced Learning Labs allow students to explore logic puzzles, go on field studies, engage in research explorations, participate in mindfulness activities and engage with math and literacy. These activities are for teachers and families to use to engage and challenge students. The resources have been recently updated and translated into Spanish to better meet the needs of all advanced learners and their families.

 2021-22 SY P-EBT Update

Update Dec. 15, 2021: North Carolina has received federal approval to continue Student Pandemic EBT this school year, however the eligibility criteria has changed. This year, eligibility is based on the individual student’s attendance record, not the circumstances of the school. Because most students are now attending school in person and are receiving their meals at school, fewer benefits will be issued this year.

NCSTAR Virtual Series Winter 2022 Update

The division of District and Regional Support within the Office of Educational Equity is excited to announce the Winter 2022 School Improvement Planning & NCStar Professional Development virtual series!

There will be four virtual sessions offered between the months of January and February 2022 on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 1-4 pm. Depending on your knowledge of NCStar, you may register for an individual session or attend all. These virtual opportunities will cover all the new resources shared during the Fall 2021 sessions.
