The NCDPI LinguaFolio Team provides support related to implementing LinguaFolio, a proficiency-based, student-centered, formative assessment tool for language learning. On April 8 at 4:00 - 5:00 pm, you can join us for the LinguaFolio End of the Year (EOY) webinar.

Our focus will be on end of the year questions with using LinguaFolio, including how to help students select evidence for the Can Do statements in their LinguaFolio and transition with LinguaFolio into the next language course. We will also feature two components of the LinguaFolio Biography, Intercultural Encounter Reflection and Self-Assessment Progress Report, as tools to move forward with when implementing LinguaFolio.

Please use the date and other links above, which are also posted on the Webinars page of the LinguaFolio Google Site, to register for the broadcast.

Renewal Credits & Archived Materials Available

Individuals who actively participate in the live broadcast of a webinar from the NCDPI LinguaFolio Team can earn contact hour(s) towards a CEU for licensure renewal. The contact hour comes in the form of an email with an attached certificate approximately 1 week after the broadcast.

Note: Local Education Agencies (LEAs) or districts and charter schools, also called Public School Units (PSUs), must approve professional development offerings.

An archive of the materials from each webinar (presentation slides, handouts, hyperlinks, etc.) and a recording of the broadcast are posted approximately 1 week following the live broadcast so that these materials can be used and/or adapted for local professional development.
