A Framework For K-12 Science Education

A Framework for K-12 Science Education Webinar Series

Please join us for the second webinar of the four-part webinar series focused on the National Research Council's (NRC) publication A Framework for K-12 Science Education: Practices, Crosscutting Concepts, and Core Ideas.

 

This webinar will provide an overview of Dimension Three: The Disciplinary Core Ideas (DCI).  In this webinar we will discuss how the Framework focuses on a limited set of core ideas, and how these are designed to support student learning by deepening understanding of science content over multiple years in K-12 science education.

The NC Science Fair Foundation, sponsor of the NC Science and Engineering Fair, is accepting applications through January 15, 2019.

It also provides the opportunity to build global competency in students.
