Budget & Agency Technical Corrections Bill Signed into Law

Last week, the General Assembly approved SB 582, a budget and agency technical corrections bill.  This legislation addresses many areas of state government, including principal pay and other aspects of public education.  More detail on the bill's contents can be found in last week's newsletter.  After its passage in the General Assembly on Thursday, October 5, SB 582 was signed into law by the Governor on Sunday, October 8.
