Office of Civil Rights (OCR) and Civil Rights Data Collection - All Charters Must Respond - Please Review Attached List to Determine if you have Complied with this Important Reporting Requirement
Please review the attached list to determine if your charter school has failed to certify your Civil Rights data. NCDPI has uploaded
as much data as possible on your behalf to the USED’s Civil Rights Data
Collection (CRDC) system. We hope this has been a benefit to you.
You must certify, within the
CRDC system that your data is complete and accurate by Monday April 24, 2017.
This will require you to enter the CRDC system, address any error messages and
officially certify the data. The submission cannot be certified until all
errors are corrected. To view your LEA and Charter School Errors and Warnings,
click the Reports Link at the top right of the Federal Submission Portal home
page. Navigate to the Error Resolution Report for Advanced Users report
and click Download Error Resolution Report. NCDPI cannot do this on your
behalf.
Please forward this informationl to other
staff as appropriate. NCDPI has communicated throughout this process the
status of the upload and the responsibilities of the LEA and charter school to verify and
certify. Attached is a spreadsheet containing the name of the OCR
Coordinator’s name and contact information we have been provided. This is
the list used to contact your LEA and charter school throughout the process.
Note: Those LEAs and Charter Schools that were not
open in the school year 2015-16 are not required to participate in this
collection.
At this time, we do not believe there will be any extension
of the April 24th deadline.

offering credential opportunities, June 16 is the last day to enter those into
NCCTE ADMIN if not automatically collected from the vendor
