Coming to Chapel Hill-Carrboro Schools

Mark Johnson to Visit Wednesday on Listening Tour

Mark Johnson, the NC Superintendent of Public Instruction, will visit Ephesus Elementary School (Chapel Hill-Carrboro Schools) on Wednesday as part of his NC Education & Innovation Tour. Earlier this year, Johnson pledged to conduct a listening tour to hear directly from educators, parents and community leaders across North Carolina.

“Technology as a tool for teachers and students can be a game changer for improving our schools,” said Johnson. “Ephesus Elementary, under the leadership of Principal Victoria Creamer, has employed a 1-to-1 technology initiative, and I look forward to seeing this innovation and its benefit to students and teachers.”

Johnson will visit with teachers at the school followed by a tour of several classrooms.
