State Board of Education (SBE) Launches Revamped Online Policy Manual
Finding state education policy is important in your role covering public
schools and public education. To help you locate state-level policies, the
State Board of Education office has reformatted the online State Board of
Education Policy Manual, providing users with a more easily understood coding
system and a more modern user experience. The new policy
manual site launched Feb. 1, and we encourage you to visit the site to
see the changes firsthand.
Finding the Policy Manual
SBE Policy Manual access is through the same link on the State
Board of Education website, which also can be accessed from the Department
of Public Instruction’s home page (in the green banner at the top of
click on State Board of Education). You will see a number of tabs, including
the “Policy Manual” tab. All of the policy manual “categories/subjects” appear
on the left navigation bar on the page.
If you are a frequent policy manual visitor, you may want to consider
