Sampson County Public Works has contractors working in the area around Faison Hwy and around Spiveys Corner. They are flushing water lines. Customers could notice brief low pressure and possible discoloration of their water during this week, May 19 - May 23. We apologize for the inconvenience but it is necessary maintenance to our lines/system.

Camps run from June 9th to July 25th at various locations, including Roseboro-Salemburg Middle: June 9th-13th & July 21st-25th Clement Elementary: June 16th-20th
Hobbton Middle: June 23rd - 27th
Union Intermediate: July 7th - 11th
Midway Elementary: July 14th - July 18th
All sessions are from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with drop-off starting at 7:30 AM. Cost is just $50 per camper!

Willie Weeks Day: Mural Unveiling & Dedication
You're invited to join the Town of Salemburg for Willie Weeks Day, where they will proudly unveil and dedicate a mural honoring legendary bass guitarist and Salemburg native, Willie Weeks. The celebration takes place on June 5, 2025, from 5:30–7:30 PM at the Strickland Building (112 N. Main Street, Salemburg, NC).
This event is made possible through a partnership between the Town of Salemburg and the Sampson Arts Council. In addition, this project was supported by the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.
