County Appoints Jeffery Hudson as Interim County Manager
 During the Sampson County Board of Commissioners’ special meeting on December 17, all five commissioners voted unanimously to appoint Jeffrey Hudson as the Sampson County interim county manager. He will officially assume the role on January 21, 2025.

Notice Regarding 2024 Property Tax
 The 2024 property tax on real estate and personal property listed in January will be delinquent after Jan.6, 2025. After this date, by state statute, interest will be added.

ServSafe Class Registration Begins
Looking for a ServSafe Class? Sampson County Health Department can help you. Click the link and register today.
This class is for food service managers and supervisory staff at restaurants, hospitals, nursing homes, child-care facilities, and other food-handling establishments that need to meet the 2017 FDA Food Code and the NC Food Code requirements for food safety and sanitation grading. This 1-day course includes 6 hours of classroom training followed by an exam.

County Aging Services Nutrition Program

The Home Delivered Meals program is in desperate need of meal delivery volunteers in the Garland, Harrells, Mingo areas. We also have need for a few recipients who are just outside of Clinton City limits!
Volunteers play a critical and vital role in meeting the needs of our senior community, some of our work would be impossible without their dedication!
