As Christmas is quickly approaching and many of our churches, businesses, and civic organizations are considering outreach or ministry projects, Sampson County Department of Social Services would encourage you to consider giving to the foster children and adults who are currently in the custody of Sampson County. Each year, the agency makes an effort to ensure that Christmas is special for each of these individuals through our Christmas Cheer Program.

Ivanhoe Water Project Update
 Sampson County Public Works had a great turnout at the Ivanhoe Community meeting, where staff explained the Ivanhoe Water Project and assisted residents with their applications. If you missed the November Community meeting, the next one about the water project will be held at 6 PM on December 12 at the Ivanhoe Fire Department. Water sign-up is 100% voluntary. Qualified residents can also sign up at the Sampson County Public Works office during their business hours. For more information, visit www.sampsoncountync.gov/ivanhoe.
