The City of Raleigh has scheduled a public meeting to discuss possible streetscape improvements for Oberlin Road adjacent to Cameron Village. The area for discussion covers Oberlin Road between Park Drive and Bedford Avenue.
The goal of the meeting is to review the proposed street improvements included in the City’s Wade-Oberlin Small Area Plan. City staff will facilitate a discussion about the community’s interests and the opportunities available to redesign the street to better integrate pedestrian, bike, auto, and transit uses.
Residents, property owners, businesses, and customers are encouraged to participate in the discussion of how Oberlin Road will evolve into the “main street” of the area.
