Sections of Oberlin Road, Clark Avenue Closed For Sewer Work

The City of Raleigh has closed Oberlin Road between Park Drive and Stafford Avenue and Clark Avenue between Enterprise Street and Daniels Street. The street closings are needed to accommodate replacement of a sewer main. The work will be done at night, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., and is expected to be completed on Friday morning, March 22.

Motorists are asked to avoid this area if possible.

Following is a detour for motorists traveling Oberlin Road:
• Traffic on northbound Oberlin Road will turn right onto Park Drive, left onto Woodburn Road, left onto Cameron Street, and turn right back onto Oberlin Road; and,
• Southbound traffic on Oberlin Road will turn left onto Cameron Street, right onto Woodburn Road, right onto Park Drive, and turn left back onto Oberlin Road.

Below is a detour for motorists traveling Clark Avenue:
• Traffic on westbound Clark Avenue will turn right onto Woodburn Road, left onto Cameron Street, left onto Oberlin Road, right onto Stafford Avenue, left onto Chamberlain Street, and turn right back onto Clark Avenue; and,
• Eastbound traffic on Clark Avenue will turn left onto Chamberlain Street, right onto Stafford Avenue, left onto Oberlin Road, right onto Cameron Street, right onto Woodburn Road, and turn left back onto Clark Avenue.

Customers in this area should not experience any interruption of sewer service.
