Housing Inspector Supervisor
Tony Gupton was recently promoted to Housing Inspector Supervisor within the Housing/Environmental Division of the Inspections Department. He is responsible for managing eleven H/E Inspectors along with providing code interpretations and guidance to staff and the public. He was previously a Senior Multi-Trade Inspector with over 17 years of service in the Housing/Environmental Division.
Tony is certified by the State of North Carolina – State Fire Marshal’s Office as a Building Level I, Mechanical Level I, Electrical Level II, and Plumbing Level II Inspector. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mathematics Education from North Carolina State University.
