Westbound Lane of U.S. 70 in Garner Closed Due to Water Main Break

The City of Raleigh has closed the far right inbound (westbound) lane of U.S. 70 near New Rand Road in Garner because of a water main break. One inbound lane remains open to traffic. Motorists should expect traffic delays and are advised to use alternate routes to access the area.

Fifteen (15) water customers are out of service. Repairs to the main have begun are expected to be complete by 6 p.m. today.
