Beer and Wine Tent Brings Extra Sparkle
to Raleigh’s July 4 Celebration
The Works – the City of Raleigh’s Downtown Independence Day Celebration, will be enlivened by a Beer & Wine Tasting Tent offering adults a chance to sample more than 25 different microbrews and 12 fine wines. A $10.00 ticket buys eight 3-ounce samples.
North Carolina has developed a tremendous reputation among beer connoisseurs over the past few years for having outstanding microbreweries. Featured North Carolina microbrews that will be at The Works include Railhouse (3 microbrews) and Carolina Brewing Company (4 microbrews). Beers from Sierra Nevada, Sam Adams, Leinekugel, Yuengling, Latis Import, Lagunitas, Dos Equis, Newcastle, Anchor Brewery, Crispin, Narragansett and North American Brewery will also be available for sampling.
A wide choice of fine red and white wines will also be available for sampling.
The tent will be located at the corner of West Hargett Street and Fayetteville Street in Downtown Raleigh and will open at noon and will close at 9:30 p.m., shortly before the fireworks display.
So come out, join your neighbors and friends, and enjoy The Works on July 4 from noon until 10:00 p.m. in Downtown Raleigh.
