Teen Curfew

The Mayor and City Council wish to address confusion regarding the Teen Curfew ordinance. As noted at the Council Meeting on September 7, 2026 the council will not take a vote on the proposed ordinance until after our event, "Not Just a Curfew: Bridging Gaps for Teens and the Community." The event will be hosted at 5 p.m. October 12th at the Five Points Center for Active Adults. More information can be found at the City’s website (https://raleighnc.gov/youth/events/not-just-curfew-bridging-gaps-teens-and-community).

We welcome members of the public to join us for the event. Feedback from the event will be compiled and presented to the council at a future City Council meeting. We will notify residents and media when the presentation to Council will be and apologize for any confusion.
