Project Invent: Real World Problems
Real-world water challenges, solved by local students! Through Project Invent, Raleigh Water partnered with East Wake Magnet High School to help students create solutions for today’s water issues, and some of the inventions even won awards!
Raleigh Water provides safe drinking water to roughly 650,000 residents. We are committed to providing the best drinking water that has been tested 6,000 to 7,000 times per month to ensure it meets all Federal and State drinking water standards. Want to know more about your drinking water? Check out this year's Consumer Confidence Report.

Building Safety Month
May is Building Safety Month, and we’re giving a shout-out to some of our sewer professionals who help keep our communities safe. Beneath buildings and homes are miles of water and sewer pipes. The fats, oils, and greases (F.O.G.) we put down the drains have a big impact on them. That’s why fats, oils, and grease are a no-go for healthy pipes.
Keep up with Building Safety Month on our social media! Later this week we'll spotlight our Raleigh Water Capital Improvement Project Inspectors.
