On April 13, 2026, at approximately 5:39 p.m., officers with the Raleigh Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 3800 block of Thelma Street.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, Terrance Quarles (27), was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Shortly after the shooting, Raleigh police and Wake County Sheriff’s deputies located the alleged shooting suspect, Angie Bravo (21), at 3011 Trimblestone Way, and took her into custody.
Following additional investigation, detectives determined that the victim and suspect were known to one another through a non-dating relationship. The investigation further revealed that a physical altercation between the victim, suspect and other individuals occurred prior to the shooting.
This investigation is ongoing.
