Effective today, August 22, we’ve launched new features to improve your permitting experience. 

We’ve updated our Residential and Commercial permit applications to reflect the new changes. 

 What’s New: 

• Conditional Service Option: You now have the option to apply for conditional service inspection for Mechanical and Electrical permits, either prior to or after permit issuance.
  • Prior to Permit Issuance: Select "Conditional Service" on the permit application and submit the Conditional Service form with the appropriate application.
  • Post Issuance: Submit the Conditional Service form as indicated on the application.
• Radon Permits: You have the option to apply for the Radon permit prior to or after permit issuance.
  • Prior to Permit Issuance: Select Radon on the permit application and indicate the contractor who is doing the work by utilizing the “Other” section. An additional permit will be issued if the work is not done by the mechanical contractor.
  • Post Issuance: Submit the appropriate permit application.
• NEW - Commercial Shell Building Permit: This is a brand-new permit type, available to apply for online. It is used when constructing a new building with no initial tenant and will not receive a Certificate of Occupancy. When a tenant is ready to move in, an Interior Completion permit will be required to finish the space and obtain the Certificate of Occupancy.
