On Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 01:00 AM, the Raleigh Police Department responded to a shooting in the 1600 Block of Bickett Blvd. Officers determined that during the incident, a suspect had fired several gunshots into an occupied residence during a dispute.
On Thursday, June 12, 2025, the suspect in this incident, identified as Likim Simari Leach (18-year-old Male), was arrested and charged with the following:
- Discharge Weapon Into Occupied Property
- Discharge Firearms in City Limits
- Going Armed to the Terror of the Public
This remains an ongoing investigation.
