Hey there, Raleigh! Did you catch that rhyming headline? It took longer than I'd care to admit. But enough about that—Happy April! As the days grow longer and temperatures rise, we're excited to be outdoors with you. Keep scrolling to discover exciting engagement opportunities waiting for you this month.
First, we'd like to highlight that April 22nd is Earth Day. Earth Day is celebrated every year as a global reminder to protect our planet. It’s a great time to take action—whether by planting trees, reducing waste, or joining a local cleanup. We encourage you to visit The Great Raleigh Cleanup and We Plant it Forward if you're looking for local organizations to support. Otherwise, check out our spring planting tips and read up on Raleigh's award-winning Community Climate Action Plan.
