On January 26, 2025, the Raleigh Police Department responded to a reported shooting in the 6300 block of Hillsborough Street. Responding officers located an adult female victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim stated she was shot by the driver of another vehicle. A female juvenile was inside the car during the incident but suffered no injuries. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
48-year-old Karriem Muhammad Trammell has been arrested and charged in connection with this incident.
- Felony- Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injuries
- Felony- Discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling or moving vehicle (Three Counts)
- Felony- Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill
