The Raleigh Police Department has made an arrest in connection with the homicide of S.T. Vaughn. Tywan Ali Williams, 43, has been arrested and charged with Murder and Possession of Firearm by Felon.

On Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at approximately 5:56 a.m., The Raleigh Police Department responded to a report of a person shot in the 1400 block of Carnage Dr. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
This is an active death investigation.
Officers and detectives are on the scene collecting evidence and determining the circumstances surrounding this incident.
