The Raleigh Police Department has made an arrest in connection with this incident.
Pacheco Bautista Valentin, 33, has been charged with the homicide that occurred in the 5100 block of North New Hope Road.

At approximately 11:28 AM, the Raleigh Police Department responded to a reported shooting in the 5100 block of North New Hope Road.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult female with serious gunshot wounds.
Officers and detectives are on-scene determining the circumstances surrounding this incident.
Officers have one person in custody.
Additional information will be released at the appropriate time and there is no threat to the community.
