At approximately 11:28 AM, the Raleigh Police Department responded to a reported shooting in the 5100 block of North New Hope Road.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult female with serious gunshot wounds.
Officers and detectives are on-scene determining the circumstances surrounding this incident.
Officers have one person in custody.
Additional information will be released at the appropriate time and there is no threat to the community.
