Transit Sr. Planner - BRT

Are you interested in developing transit and multimodal solutions through implementation of bus rapid transit? The City of Raleigh Transportation Department-Transit Division has two (2) openings for motivated senior planner to join the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) team. This position will be responsible for various aspects of transportation/transit planning related to the implementation of Wake BRT program and associated projects. The Senior Planner position will also serve as a project manager and will be responsible for engaging with various stakeholders and the public on planning issues and coordination.

GoRaleigh Returns to Full Service

Beginning January 14, GoRaleigh will return to full service. GoRaleigh is the City of Raleigh’s public transit system.

Transit service was reduced on several routes in September 2022 due to an operator shortage. This allowed GoRaleigh to provide a higher quality of service and reliability and increase dependability.

Eleven routes were reduced to hourly frequency. There was no reduction in the span of service. These routes will now be brought back to full frequency. Please note that timepoints may change with increased service.
