On Monday, October 2, 2023, at approximately 6:35 P.M., the Raleigh Police Department responded to a reported shooting in the 5100 block of North New Hope Road. Responding officers located a 17-year-old male juvenile victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The male was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Officers and detectives are on the scene collecting evidence and determining the circumstances surrounding this incident.
There are no suspects in custody.
This is an ongoing investigation.
