Attention Designers!

Raleigh Stormwater has drafted version 3 of the Stormwater Design Manual. We are asking for your feedback from Tuesday, September 5 to Sunday, October 1, 2023.

What is the Stormwater Design Manual?

This manual assists designers and plan reviewers with regulatory compliance of development projects within the City of Raleigh (City) and its extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ). It's used in conjunction with the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO).

What New Information is Available?

Three documents become available to the public this week:

• Stormwater Design Manual Draft version 3
• Summary of Changes in the Stormwater Design Manual Draft version 3
• Response to Comments Submitted for Draft version 1 and version 2 (available by Friday, September 8, 2023)

When will Comments be Addressed?

Comments will be addressed by November 2, 2023, when the revised Draft is presented to the Stormwater Management Advisory Committee (SMAC).
