Raleigh Parks invites you to a special VIP exhibit opening in the John P. “Top” Greene Community Center on Friday, September 1, 6-8 p.m. The exhibit, “A Century in the Making: A Cultural Legacy of South Park and East Raleigh Neighborhoods” is a pilot exhibit developed in conjunction with the South Park East Raleigh Neighborhood Association and explores the people and places that made these unique African American neighborhoods for over 100 years. The display is part of the first phase of interpretation for the center. Food and refreshments provided with music honoring J.D. Lewis and his Teenage Frolics. RSVP - (919) 996-2220.
