An additional arrest has been made in the homicide of Christina Maria Matos, 20, on April 4, 2021.
Witness statements provided additional evidence leading to the arrest of Kailey Elizabeth Lynch-Firicano, 21. Lynch-Firicano is charged with Accessory After the Fact and Obstructing Justice.

At approximately 7:11 p.m., Raleigh Police Department officers were dispatched to a check on welfare call in the 1500 block of Hillsborough Street. Upon arrival, they discovered the body of a deceased adult. A follow-up investigation is currently underway.
