Update:
The Raleigh Police Department has made two arrests in the June 14 shooting that occurred in the 2800 block of Orchard Trace Way.

F- Assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury
F- Discharge weapon into occupied property x 3
M- Injury to personal property x 3
M-Contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile

The following release was distributed on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at 8:49 p.m.
On Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at approximately 6:02 p.m., the Raleigh Police Department responded to the 2800 block of Orchard Trace Way due to reports of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Several homes and vehicles were struck because of gunfire; however, there are no additional injuries.
There are two subjects detained at this time.
The continued presence of officers is a result of the ongoing investigation.
There is no threat to the public.
