Update: Raleigh Police Department Death Investigation on Greenway near Creedmoor Road

Update: 

The Raleigh Police Department has identified the victim as Rodney Lewis Clark, 21. The circumstances surrounding this incident is still under investigation.

The below news release was distributed at 6:35 PM on September 29.

At approximately 3:47 PM, the Raleigh Police Department responded to a call regarding a subject down on the greenway near the intersection of Glenwood Avenue and Creedmoor Road. Upon arrival, a deceased adult male was located. 

Officers and detectives are on scene conducting an investigation surrounding the circumstances of this incident. Currently, the Crabtree Creek Trail is closed as the investigation progresses.
