Raleigh Police Investigate Shooting on Rock Quarry Road

At approximately 7:33 p.m., Raleigh Police Department officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 700 block of Rock Quarry Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. The follow-up investigation is currently underway.
