Raleigh Police Investigate Shooting on Sumner Boulevard

At approximately 8:33 p.m., Raleigh Police Department officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 3400 block of Sumner Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital for treatment of what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries. Officers and detectives are currently on scene conducting a follow-up investigation.
