Raleigh Police Investigate Homicide on Ileagnes Road

Raleigh Police Department detectives are investigating a homicide in the 700 block of Ileagnus Road. Officers were dispatched to the location at 2:10 p.m. Upon arrival, they located the body of an adult female with a gunshot wound who was pronounced deceased at the scene. There are no further details at this time. As the investigation progresses, more information will be released.
