UPDATE: Raleigh Police Respond to Wallingford Drive Stabbing

Leonard Alfred Moore (DOB 11/4/73) has been arrested in connection with this incident and charged with Assault With a Dangerous Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury. A photo of Moore is attached.

PRELIMINARY INFORMATION:
At approximately 7:15 p.m., Raleigh Police Department officers responded to a stabbing call in the 5100 block of Wallingford Drive. When officers arrived, they located an adult male victim who was transported for treatment of his injuries. Information was provided to officers that the suspect ran inside the home. Officers have attempted to make contact with the suspect who may have barricaded himself inside. Nearby neighbors have been evacuated as a precautionary measure.
This is an unfolding incident and active investigation. No additional details are available at this time.
