Raleigh Police Request Public's Assistance to Identify Suspect With Chainsaw

The Raleigh Police Department is seeking the public's assistance as it works to identify an individual wanted for Attempted Kidnapping, Aggravated Assault, and Damage to Property. At approximately 9:14 p.m. on March 20, officers responded to a disturbance call in the 2500 block of South Saunders Street where the suspect was using a chainsaw to menace the victim. He was wearing a dark green baseball cap, a long white coat, dark jeans, and white shoes. He left in a dark colored passenger vehicle. Photos of the suspect and the vehicle are attached.
