Preliminary Information
At approximately 1:53 p.m., Raleigh Police Department officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 8400 block of Brier Creek Road. Upon arrival, an adult male was located suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported. A suspect is in custody. Officers and detectives are on-scene and conducting a follow-up investigation. Additional information will be provided as the investigation progresses.
